From my experience, women love sex as much as men, if not more. Yet men are always complaining to me that women are like a starfish in bed.

A bit harsh I know. So I asked myself: why is this?

I have my thoughts....Women are frustrated, even feeling violated in their bodies, because men just want to go from 0-60 in 2.5 seconds!

To put it more bluntly, as several women say to me, “men have no f#@#* idea!”

So I am sure you are dying to know: What is it that women REALLY want?

IN SEARCH OF THE PERFECT VAGINA

Last Monday night I had the pleasure of listening to a talk given by Andrew Barnes at my home with about 26 other very eager people.

I was told that this was a chance for me to meet Divine Masculine energy incarnate!!
That this man is so wonderful, his mere presence has the capacity to make a difference to your life. That it would be an experience not to be missed.


We all would have the opportunity to find out about the workshops he would be running whilst in Perth, his life transforming private sessions.....and also be able to ask him any... questions we may have about relationships, sexuality, orgasms and LIFE!

For those who don't know:

Andrew Barnes is a Tantric relationship, sexuality and orgasm coach, author, speaker and Daka. He runs a private practice in Brisbane and has been training bodyworkers in a variety of disciplines in Australia and overseas since 1997.


Andrew is a leading authority on female sexuality, respected among his peers for his expertise and craft based on extensive studies and experience in Tantric practices, bodywork and sexuality philosophy. He is helping to shape an industry that is growing in relevance and acceptance.

Andrew also, as it turns out did the same Masters program as me. So I was curious to meet him and it was interesting to compare our experiences and I am grateful to him for coming along and giving the talk.

Here is some of the information as I can remember that he shared with us on the night:

The female genitalia in general has been demonised and hidden in our society and  this has contributed to  womens true sexual power having been suppressed.

In the quest for the perfect looking vagina - usually compared to the ones seen on porn sites - women are paying a high price both financially and emotionally by  having their inner labia cut out to achieve some imagined ideal.

A lot of womens perceptions are based on the fact that they don't really know their own anatomy very well and what real vagina's look like and how much variation there is amongst women.

Whereas in our patriarchal society the contrast is that the male sexual genitalia has been glorified.

We all begin life as female in the womb, therefore we all have a prostate gland, therefore all women should be able to ejaculate.

Because women have been disempowered and lack knowledge about their sexuality women have forgotten about this innate ability that they ALL have.

Pleasure and anxiety can not ccurr at the same time as they are run by two different systems.

There is more to be said on this topic but that is all that comes to mind for now and I will hopefully cover them in other blog posts soon!
