THE CYCLES OF LIFE

Many are feeling an intensity rising with rapid changes happening in their lives over the last months and for me that has come with the experience of my beloved Mothers departure from her physical body. 
It is sad to see her go and I miss her very much already but it is also a relief now that she has finally left her body. Having cared for her over the last 4 years after she suffered a massive stroke, I feel a sense of peace and joy that she is finally free of pain and all her earthly limitations and is now able to express herself fully on whatever new dimension she has moved into. I can feel her presence around me more than ever. 

Her passing also coincided with Deepavali, the festival of lights, which I am told is a very auspicious time to leave your body as it is a  time of great celebration of the feminine and our Divine Mothers presence. So it was all perfect. I have been feeling so much the gift of my mother and the priviledge to have been able to offer whatever love and support I could have during her final years on this beautiful planet.

My Mothers passing has also deepened in me the mystery of Tantra, which includes very much the cycle of life and death and how they are so interconnected. In the end there is death and in the beginning there is sex. We all come here through the door of sex and we all leave here through the door of death.

Tantra focuses itself on the beginning of life which makes the sexual very important. Some say maybe we make it too important but with Tantra's approach it teaches how we can use life and death to discover that which is beyond both. How to go deep within our bodies and being and know what sex is, how to reveal the mystery of love and penetrate into the seed and into the full blossoming of life.

On our Wednesday evening gatherings we will focus more deeply on how we can engage our tantric exploration of life and open up to the energy flow and how our challenging emotions can be transformed when working with tantra in our relationships.
